Hi,

My name is Toby Dale.

I’m a twenty year old Independent Film Maker.

I was inspired as a child watching the original Star Wars trilogy and ever since, I’ve wanted to tell stories.

I bought a cheap handycam when I was sixteen, and began experimenting with all types of film making.

Since then, I’ve created many different short films, animations and videos.

Hopefully this website will give you a little insight into what I’m upto.

Hello!

So I have been busy with numerous projects recently. One of those being a video for the band Hadouken! Which you can watch here

After seeing ‘Toy Free-Running’ on the youtube home page they asked if I could make them a promo for their upcoming single. I wrote a treatment about a love affair between Ken and Barbie and they gave me the go ahead.

This was a project that needed to be planned with precision with the time restraints of locations and the time consuming nature of stop motion animation and compositing and this can be seen by comparing the original storyboards to the final shots:
